🏈 75 Years Ago 🏈

The Old Guard “Cockades” continued their winning ways in the 7th Army football league in Occupied Germany following World War II. The game took place at Mannheim, Germany. The Cockades won the game, 14-6. After this game, the Cockades were 6-0.

  1. I served in the Reception Station for the 84th β€œRailspliters” Division in Milwaukee during the 1970s after having served in C/2/3/199th Light Infantry Brigade in Vietnam in 1966/1967.
    My father, Colonel William J. Carr Sr became the Commander of I believe it was the 1st. Brigade until his retirement. He is buried in Arlington.
