Michael Folland – 70th Birthday

Today we remember Corporal Michael Folland, on what would have been his 70th birthday.

CPL Folland, while serving with the 2d Battalion, 3d Infantry Regiment, sacrificed himself when his unit was ambushed in Long Khanh Province, Republic of Vietnam. His actions cost him his life, and were recognized with the posthumous awarding of the Medal of Honor.
