Christmas Menu 1941 – Company H

Twelve Days of TOG Christmas #3

This menu is from Christmas 1941 for Company H. Much of the Regiment had deployed to Newfoundland, but some elements remained at Fort Snelling. Inside is a listing for Company M, another company that had not deployed. The United States had just entered World War II weeks earlier, following the attack at Pearl Harbor. The first elements left Historic Fort Snelling almost a year earlier to defend the North Atlantic shipping lanes from a feared Nazi attack.
